It also houses facilities for aquatic animal nutrition, feed technology, water quality, physiology, and microbiology.

Can Tho University is promoting the integration of Artemia aquaculture with artisinal salt producers cooperatives in the Mekong Delta, producing high value cysts, achieving top market prices, and innovating in promoting the use of Artemia biomass for human food.
