Over 500 salt farms including four cooperatives in the Mekong Delta have integrated high-value Artemia cyst and biomass production into their salt farming systems. The cysts achieve some of the highest market prices of any source, and biomass is being used locally for human food. Farms in the delta are innovating with respect to farming systems.
