KāNikom Ltd is a company based in Omsk, Russia, engaged in the production and global export of Artemia cysts. It sources raw material from salt lakes in the Altai region and operates an in-house facility for processing. It also processes cysts from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
The Kadzuhoni Self-Help Group is a community-based organisation of artisanal salt farmers growing Artemia cysts and biomass as sideline in Kenya. The group is addressing youth and gender issues and innovating with respect to farming systems.
The Kasetsart University Fish Feed Development Centre focuses on applied research and development in fish feed and live feed technologies.
